A decade worth of Birthday, Christmas and Anniversary presents means that he's got everything in the 'Presents for Lovers' Guide book. So I've decided to put my creativity to use and compile a "2 of us" mini-book for him.
A trip down memory lane.
I've started to trudge back through old photos and a little while ago I stumbled across this Telstra phone card which contains all these little photos of us from back in the day. I don't know whether most of you remember but sticker photos were the "hip" thing in the 90s. Measuring 2 cms high x 2.5cms wide, these are all the tokens I have left of our teen outings.
The thing is that although Merv and I are older (i.e. we look older, we feel older, and our lives are filled with old people responsibilities), I look back at the above pictures and nothing about "us" has changed. Ok - no we no longer make out in public, but the playful essence captured in the above photos is still there.
After all this time, he's still the guy who makes my heart flutter...
Think I'm going to keep him.
